bill maher is so damn good.
he is the guy with common sense and humor, and he is not indifferent.
i pretty much on the same boat about politics, religion, health, legalization, diets etc.
he is a comedian and even though he is bashing republicans more, he is not really a partisan and for me (being liberal libertarian) is pure pleasure

8:42a - se, jie
we went to see se, jie (lust, caution - 色,戒) directed by ang lee
it's not bad, yet i could see some imitation of kar-wai, even in casting
ang lee is like chinese spilberg - epic, well done, pretty and for general audience (a bit too simplistic for me)
it's about period of japanese ocupation of china during ww2,
but movies is not really about the war, but more about feelings of a women that got in a very tricky situation
and she (wei tang) acted really well, and that was her first movie, as far as i know.
movie is not that fast, yet it's not borring. sex scenes are really revealing,
i won't tell the plot though, i think you can watch it
