codex seraphinianus

in the late 70s italian architect, illustrator and industrial designer luigi serafini made a book, an encyclopedia of unknown, parallel world. it’s about 360-380 pages. it is written in an unknown language, using an unknown alphabet. it took him 30 month to complete that masterpiece that many might call “the strangest book on earth”. codex seraphinianus is divided to 11 chapters and two parts - first one is about nature and the second one is about people.
btw five hundred years ago there was another book somewhat like that - voynich manuscript.

I think the couple in the first image would form a better grasshopper than an alligator, oh well.

I don't think he is trying to make it look "better" or the "best" it's just his perspective. Maybe you could draw it as a grasshopper? :)

Things people do without modern day digital entertainment..
If great minds as we know have an Ipad on the go, many of things we now know might not have been created.
Not that this guy that created this book is great, this guy just have too much time..

Do you thinks this seriously?? Great mind doesn't need Ipad. Are you idiot??? What kind of things haven't been invented??? The smilies? This is the rottest thing I have ever heard. William Shakespeare, Eötvös Lóránd, Szemmelweisz Ignác, Decartes, the Curies, Michalangelo, DaVinci, W. A. Mozart or Liszt Ferenc didn't have Ipod. The great minds use their brain for thinking! You should do that, too.

The artist is the combo of Leonardo DaVinci and Salvador Dalí. Yes, all of them had fantasy :D I cannot decide if I like these drawings or not.

For people who have a better understanding of what's been hidden to the world, this "being" was into trying to inform the world (through his art/symbolism) what is really going on and how things are been done behind curtains. He was not on drugs, he was really telling us something. If you do some deep rooted research, he makes a lot of sense. e.g.. reptilian agenda, draconians, grays, government experimentation, etc...
